| This ship is a revolutionary marvel of naval engineering. Enjoy one-of-a-kind features like an ice-skating rink, the Royal Promenade and a rock-climbing wall, just for starters. Innovations on this and other Voyager-family ships add up to more space for every guest, and include enhanced staterooms, expanded dining options and exceptional recreational facilities. |
The Voyager of the Seas will sail from the Port of Galveston from December 13, 2009 until April 11,2010 and then will return to Galveston in the Fall of 2010 through April 2011 for its final season sailing out of Galveston,Texas. Voyager will offer two Western Caribbean itineraries and a TransAtlantic Crossing.
One Itinerary will depart from Galveston, Texas and visit Cozumel, Mexico; Roatan, Honduras; Yucatan (Progreso), Mexico; before returning to Galveston, Texas
The other itinerary will also leave from Galveston, Texas but will visit Montego Bay, Jamaica; George Town, Grand Cayman; Cozumel, Mexico before returning to Galveston, Texas
The third is a TransAtlantic Crossing that leaves from Galveston, Texas and visits Miami, Florida; Ponta Delgada, Azores; Cartagena, Spain and ends in Barcelona, Spain.
The bad news is that 2010-11 season marks the last time Voyager will sail from Galveston. Beginning with the 2011-12 season the Voyager will make New Orleans her home. The GOOD NEWS is that in her place Galveston will welcome Voyager's sister ship, Mariner of the Seas.
